Your first five minutes

  1. Open STOCKTOWN and connect your wallet at the city gates. Sign the wallet message to verify your account.
  2. Create your explorer in Character Studio and set a name. Meet Ivy for six chapters covering STOCKTOWN, the two-clue hunt loop, friends and shared progress, the STOCKTOWN Exchange floor, activities and your first destination. Choose Hear Ivy for spoken guidance, or read at your own pace. Returning players resume their saved character and progress.
  3. Walk to a branded landmark. Click its building to route to the entrance, then press E at the door.
  4. Inside, approach the clue board and press E. Read the field journal, find the object described, and search it.
  5. Follow the second clue to uncover the reward. Open your backpack to see the saved item, then head to another landmark.

Your explorer. Your wallet.

Opening STOCKTOWN takes you through the animated city-gate arrival screen directly into the game. Connect and verify your wallet first, create your explorer next, then meet Ivy for a guided introduction. A returning wallet restores its saved character and skips completed setup. Both the character and tutorial-completion state are saved online.

Choose Connect wallet and select an available Ethereum-compatible wallet. STOCKTOWN detects installed wallets, including Robinhood Wallet, MetaMask and Phantom’s Ethereum provider. Available options depend on your browser and installed wallet. Phantom must expose its EVM provider; a Solana-only connection cannot sign in to Robinhood Chain. Wallet support for a custom network can vary.

The wallet may ask to switch or add Robinhood Chain. Sign the account message to prove that you control your address. Signing in does not submit a transaction or approve spending. The app never needs your private key or recovery phrase. Robinhood Chain uses chain ID 4663 and ETH for gas. Official network details ↗

If that wallet already has an explorer, its existing saved account is restored. If you played an older guest version, connecting a new wallet can retain that guest explorer. Connecting an existing wallet restores that wallet’s account; separate histories are not merged. Edit your character through your player card; names accept 2–20 letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens or underscores. Signing out ends the current session, without deleting the saved account.

One city. Your own character.

Open your player card and enter Character Studio. Scout, Nova and Riley are optional starting presets. Each explorer can mix ten independent appearance choices; they are not restricted to three fixed characters.

OptionAvailable choices
BuildClassic, Slender, Broad
Skin toneSix tones
HairstyleCrop, Side part, Curls, Bob, Long, Ponytail
Hair colourEight colours
HeadwearNone, Cap, Beanie, Bucket hat
OutfitJacket, Hoodie, T-shirt, Blazer
Outfit colourTen colours
TrousersSix colours
ShoesFour colours
AccessoryNone, Backpack, Glasses, Headphones, Scarf

The preview renders the same 3D model you use in the city. Drag to rotate it. Use Randomise for a new combination, Reset to return to the selected preset, or change individual controls. A hat may cover part of your hairstyle. You can combine any build, skin tone, hairstyle and outfit; the choices are not tied to gender.

Choose Save your character to commit your name and look. The server validates the options and saves them to your account. Your city model, player card, friends list and player profile use this appearance. Nearby players receive the changes with multiplayer updates. Unsaved edits are discarded when you reopen the editor. Existing accounts keep their name, inventory and progress, and receive a matching preset until they customise.

Connect a wallet to restore the saved appearance on another device. Appearance does not affect speed, collision size, rewards or eligibility. There are over 16 million possible combinations, although headwear and overlapping accessories can make some look similar. Customisation is free in the alpha; there are no purchasable cosmetics or uploaded avatar files.

Meet Ivy, your STOCKTOWN concierge

Ivy also welcomes you during your first arrival. Her six-chapter introduction appears inside the city after character creation. It explains STOCKTOWN, hidden stock trails, friends, the STOCKTOWN Exchange, activities and your first clue at Trading Plaza. Choose Hear Ivy for optional continuous narration, or read at your own pace. Back, chapter controls and Skip introduction are available. The final button marks a first clue board; it never reveals a hidden stock. The Help button reopens her guide later.

Ivy is an adult female virtual receptionist in every enterable building, including STOCKTOWN HQ and the STOCKTOWN Exchange. She stands behind the welcome desk in a dark blazer with STOCKTOWN accents. She is a game NPC, not another online player, and does not count toward the online population or reward milestones.

  1. Walk to the Talk to Ivy · Reception marker and press E. Clicking Ivy routes you toward reception.
  2. Type a question and press Enter or Send. Shift+Enter adds a new line. Questions can contain up to 500 characters.
  3. Use the microphone button, if your browser supports speech recognition, to dictate. Grant microphone permission only if you want voice input. Review or edit the resulting text, then send it.
  4. Choose Enable voice for spoken replies, select an available browser voice, and choose Smooth, Soft or Clear delivery. Smooth is the default and keeps the voice at its natural pitch. Each reply is spoken as one continuous utterance, with ordinary sentence punctuation rather than artificial breaks between tiny clips. Use Listen on any Ivy reply to replay it, or Stop to end speech.
  5. Use her handbook links for detail. Where a service exists in your room, her directions button routes your character to it after closing the conversation.

What Ivy knows

Her curated STOCKTOWN guide covers getting started, controls, custom characters, accounts, the city, landmarks, entering rooms, hidden trails, reward tiers, city growth, daily challenges, the arcade and court, HQ assignments, friends and gifts, wallet balances, stock tokens, Exchange swaps, approvals, gas, slippage, payouts, community tips, saving, privacy, network settings and troubleshooting. A new voice does not change this curated knowledge system into a general-purpose AI assistant. She can use the preceding topic for short follow-up questions and link to the relevant handbook chapter.

Ask My current clue, My assignment or My reward multiplier for an answer based on your authenticated server progress. Ivy repeats a clue, rather than exposing its target or another explorer’s trail. She can explain the room you are in, point you to a local desk or exit, and describe how to find a landmark through the map.

Voice, privacy and limits

Ivy uses a curated topic-matching game guide, not a connected general-purpose AI model. She does not have unrestricted internet knowledge, promise an answer to every wording, invent live prices, make investment recommendations, reveal hidden stock locations or perform account actions. If the guide cannot match a question reliably, she asks you to rephrase or use the handbook. Only you can confirm wallet transactions, trades and reward requests.

Voice input uses your browser’s speech features. By default, spoken replies also use the browser, with natural English female voices prioritised when available. When Ivy’s voice service is available, her natural-voice option becomes the preferred source. It generates a complete reply as one audio clip; player device voices remain available as a fallback. Available voices, voice quality and microphone support vary by browser and device; a particular female voice cannot be guaranteed. Typed questions work without microphone permission. Speech recognition and some browser voices may use online browser-vendor services. With natural voice enabled, Ivy’s reply text—including any explorer name or progress she mentions—is sent to a speech service to generate audio and may be retained according to the service’s account settings. Never share sensitive information in the dialogue. You may also disable spoken replies and read every response. About browser speech support ↗

The dialogue holds up to 30 recent messages while open and is cleared when it closes. STOCKTOWN does not store a transcript in the game database. Each question and the previous topic are sent to the authenticated game endpoint to obtain a reply. Reception natural-voice requests accept only signed, unexpired replies for your own player and current room; they cannot turn arbitrary submitted text into paid audio. Up to eight audio clips are cached temporarily in the open dialogue for replay, then released when it closes. The microphone stops after a short capture, when you send, leave the dialogue or hide the tab; voice playback also stops when you leave or hide it. Conversations pause movement, and the server checks that your explorer is actually at reception. The arrival tutorial has a separate authenticated narration endpoint that accepts only a fixed chapter number. It cannot voice arbitrary text, and uses the same voice budget. The introduction plays one continuous voice clip per chapter and shares cached recordings of these fixed, non-personal scripts when available. If narration is unavailable, retry Listen again or keep reading; it does not switch to a device voice. Chapter text stays visible and narration stops when you leave the guide.

06 / EXPLORER HANDBOOK

An entire city to explore

The city spans 16,000 × 12,000 world units, with 889 enterable buildings, 10 districts, 298 branded landmarks, two canals and 9 bridges. Architecture ranges from corner shops and townhouses to offices, classical halls and stepped skyscrapers. STOCKTOWN HQ and the STOCKTOWN Exchange stand beside each other in the central skyline.

Cross-city avenues connect the districts. 152 pocket courtyards add market stalls, chess tables, planted pergolas and sculpture plazas between buildings. Another 203 smaller planted parcels fill the remaining pockets with tree groves, rain gardens, benches, bicycle racks and coffee kiosks. These are walkable places to explore and meet friends; the outdoor chess pieces, market stalls, coffee kiosks, bicycles and sculptures are scenery. Smaller ground tiles keep the paving texture consistent across avenues and squares. The new neighborhood destinations include 20 STOCKTOWN gyms, 58 pool clubs and 20 gardens. Gyms have enterable training rooms, weights, treadmills, Ivy and clue boards. Pool decks and gardens are outdoor gathering places with seating, planted beds and trees. Pools are scenery and cannot be entered. Sky offices, botanical houses, canopy cafés and cedar gardens occupy more of the vacant blocks. Offices have mission workstations, while cafés and botanical houses offer their own interiors and clue boards. Street trees stay compact so explorers and paths remain visible. The larger gardens use textured grass, taller narrow-crowned trees, flowering borders, clipped hedges, reflecting ponds and shaded pergolas around clear cross-paths. Lagoon Club, Palm Court, Riviera and Garden Spa pair landscaped pools with palms, sun loungers and stepped cream-and-teal terrace buildings. Walk to each lounge entrance to enter, meet Ivy and follow its clue trail. Pools and garden ponds are decorative water features; swimming and rooftop access are not available. The eastern promenade overlooks an open sea with sailing boats, with deep forest framing the other city edges. The playable challenges are described below.

The map directory lists the landmarks and can mark routes. A building’s name identifies its entrance; it does not reveal the hidden stock’s exact location. Unbranded neighbourhood buildings also have interiors, but daily hunts are attached to the branded landmarks.

A layered belt of 1,890 tall pines and mature broadleaf trees frames the outskirts. Street planting is grouped around trees, raised planters, gardens and seating. Smaller spaces remain paved for walking, while courtyards contain planted beds and pergolas. Roads, door approaches and clue-search locations remain accessible. When a map rebuild moves outdoor search objects, unfinished outdoor clue trails restart; completed discoveries, collected items and indoor trails remain saved.

Actually step inside

Approach a door and press E. Your character enters a shared room with its own floor, walls, furniture and search objects. Other explorers are visible when they are in the same building. Ivy, the virtual receptionist, waits behind the welcome desk; approach her reception marker and press E to talk. There are ten room themes: HQ, exchange, court, arcade, lab, café, museum, lounge, garage and gym.

Walk around furniture to reach the clue board, services and hidden objects. A desk used for trading or assignments has a usable laptop. Other props can be clue targets even when they are not computers. The room’s exit is near the front edge; approach it to return to the street. The location panel can guide you there.

The current buildings each have one playable interior floor. Skyscraper height is part of the exterior skyline; upper floors and elevators are not implemented.

Stocks are hidden. Follow the trail.

  1. Read a board. Each landmark creates a daily clue trail for your explorer. Outdoor parks use their nearby objects; building hunts happen inside.
  2. Interpret the riddle. The field journal describes a desk, shelf, plant, clock or another object. It does not display a direct stock pin.
  3. Get close and search. Press E beside the object. A wrong guess gives feedback without granting the stock. A correct first search reveals another clue.
  4. Find the second object. Search the correct target to receive the stock item. Your backpack and lifetime discovery progress update after the server confirms it.

Trails are randomized per player and landmark. Your clue stage is saved, so reconnecting does not require starting over. You must be in the right room and near the search object. Searching from a distance or trying to claim a marker directly does not work.

Each landmark can grant one discovery per explorer per UTC day. New daily trails begin at 00:00 UTC. Already collected items stay in your inventory. Completing a hunt earns 100 XP; replaying a completed trail, receiving gifts and trading items do not grant another discovery award.

The more you play, the more a find can earn

Rewards grow through completed hunts, daily challenges and community participation. Keeping a tab open or walking in circles does not increase your tier. Your Quests panel shows the exact active multiplier and the next milestone.

Permanent explorer tiers

TierLifetime hunts solvedAdded reward boost
Newcomer0+0×
Scout5+0.15×
Tracker20+0.35×
Ranger50+0.6×
City legend100+0.75×

Only discoveries originally earned by your explorer count. Trading an item away does not remove its discovery progress. Receiving, buying or gifting an existing item does not create new tier progress. Existing discoveries count toward these milestones. The find that reaches a milestone unlocks the bonus for subsequent finds.

Complete the arcade memory challenge+0.25×00:00 UTC

Daily rewards start at 1× and cap at 2× before adding permanent tiers and the active-city bonus. Court, exploration and HQ assignment achievements give XP; they do not each add another daily multiplier.

A bigger active city, bigger rewards

The city counts unique wallet-connected explorers who solved at least one hunt during the current UTC date and the preceding six UTC dates. Each wallet counts once. Guests and idle sessions do not increase this count.

Active huntersAdded city bonus
10+0.05× for everyone
50+0.1× for everyone
100+0.15× for everyone
250+0.25× for everyone

City bonuses use the highest reached milestone, rather than adding all milestones. They can decrease as activity leaves the seven-date window. Current participation is refreshed from the saved hunt records.

The multiplier changes future game rewards. It does not increase a stock’s market price, multiply assets already in your wallet or rewrite previously earned items. The maximum is . Live awards still require an eligible wallet, an enabled pool and enough unallocated budget. The server rounds awards down to the game’s six-decimal accounting precision.

A wrong arcade pad ends that attempt; start a new sequence to retry. Court shots count only at the shooting line after the meter is ready. Challenge attempts expire, so return to the starter if you leave a round too long. Daily XP is granted once even if you finish again. Your displayed level is 1 plus one level for every 500 XP.

Arcade steps, court timing and hunt searches are checked on the server. These are casual game challenges; they do not establish that every account belongs to a unique human.

STOCKTOWN HQ: mission control

Find the large STOCKTOWN HQ sign beside the STOCKTOWN Exchange. Enter, walk to a laptop and press E. The monitor opens in the centre of your screen, with your character still at the desk. STOCKTOWN OFFICES also provides HQ workstations.

Computer appWhat you can do
Field assignmentsAccept today’s destination, check its status, and report your completed hunt.
My discoveriesReview collected stock items, rewards and payout status. Request eligible earned rewards.
My crewSee accepted friends and open the friends/trades menu.
AccountView ETH, stock-token balances, share exposure and your connected account.

Mission Control selects a landmark whose trail you have not already completed that day. Finish the assigned trail after accepting, then return to an HQ computer to claim the XP. Visiting the building or reporting remotely is not enough. The assignment is saved and can only pay once per day. If every available trail is already solved, come back after the daily reset.

Use Leave desk or Esc to return to movement. During a wallet transaction, wait for the confirmation flow to finish before closing the workstation.

Your crew, trades and gifts

Select another explorer or open Friends and search their name or friend code. Send a request; the other person reviews and accepts it. Only accepted friends can send one another stock-item trade or gift offers.

  1. Select a friend and choose an available inventory item to offer.
  2. Choose one of their available items in return, or select Nothing — send a gift.
  3. Review the offer and send it. The offered item is reserved while the request is pending.
  4. The recipient accepts or declines from their trade inbox. The sender can cancel a pending offer.
  5. Acceptance moves the item ownership together. Declining or cancelling releases the reservation.

A gift also requires acceptance. Each offer transfers a whole inventory item; splitting an item into partial quantities is not implemented. Demo items only trade against demo items. Live reward entitlements require the relevant wallet eligibility and live-reward conditions, and cannot be swapped for demo items.

Items already requested for payout, approved, sent or reserved are unavailable for a new offer. In-game trades transfer saved reward entitlements; they do not send ETH or tokens already held in a wallet. Automatic finds are locked to their recipient as soon as delivery is queued. To send tokens already in your wallet, use Send in the backpack; the recipient must also have an eligible account.

Use wave, heart, party and trade emotes to greet nearby players. Emotes are visible briefly. There is currently no free-text live player chat.

Wallet balance and collected shares

The top-right balance button opens your wallet and collection overview. You can also reach it through the backpack, your account page and an in-game computer. The view keeps different kinds of assets distinct.

BalanceMeaning
ETH in your walletNative ETH read from your connected address on Robinhood Chain. Used for swaps and network gas.
Token balanceActual ERC-20 units held at that address, using the contract’s own decimal precision.
Share exposureFor stock tokens, the wallet amount adjusted by the issuer’s current shares-per-token multiplier, when that value can be read.
Pending reward unitsLive discoveries saved in your game account and awaiting delivery, including any reserved amount shown.
Delivered unitsHistorical rewards with verified delivery receipts. These may since have been moved or sold.
Demo unitsCollected practice inventory with no cash value. These cannot be swapped or withdrawn.

Stock tokens provide economic exposure to underlying securities. They do not give legal or beneficial ownership of the underlying company shares. Corporate actions can change the shares-per-token ratio without changing the raw token balance. STOCKTOWN displays this ratio only when it can read the issuer’s multiplier; it never assumes one token equals one share. Robinhood’s stock-token explanation ↗

Wallet assets come from the official active-token registry and are shown in pages of 12. Use Next and Previous to inspect every available page. Balances refresh approximately once per minute while the tab is visible, after a successful game swap, or when you choose Refresh. The last-check time tells you when the data was read.

If a read fails, the balance says Unavailable or retains its last successful reading with a warning. A failed request is never shown as a zero balance. Tokens outside the registry, other networks and assets in a different wallet are not included. We do not show an invented dollar total or aggregate different stocks into one claimed shareholding. Collection quantities use six decimals; onchain tokens use their actual contract decimals.

The STOCKTOWN Exchange: trade from an in-game computer

Walk into the large STOCKTOWN EXCHANGE building beside STOCKTOWN HQ, approach a trading desk and press E. The Exchange app opens inside STOCKTOWN OS. Harbor Exchange also has a trading office. You must be at a workstation to request a quote.

  1. Connect your account wallet, select its STOCKTOWN address, and switch it to Robinhood Chain.
  2. Choose a registered stock token or supported asset. Stock-token trading requires an approved eligible wallet.
  3. Choose whether to buy tokens with ETH or sell tokens for ETH.
  4. Enter the amount you pay. This is a token amount, not the adjusted share-exposure number.
  5. Choose a slippage limit: 0.1%, 0.5% or 1%. Request a live quote.
  6. Review estimated receive, minimum receive, pool fee and expiry. Quotes last 60 seconds.
  7. Choose Review swap in wallet. Confirm only after reviewing the wallet’s transaction details and network fee.
  8. Wait for the transaction receipt. Use the explorer link to check its final status and refresh your balances.

What routes the trade?

The desk uses Uniswap V3’s SwapRouter02 deployment on Robinhood Chain. It checks four direct-pool fee tiers—0.01%, 0.05%, 0.30% and 1%—and selects the best returned output. Native ETH is wrapped or unwrapped as needed by the swap. The integration does not aggregate multihop routes, Uniswap V4 pools or other exchanges.

A missing direct pool, insufficient liquidity, unavailable registry or failed RPC read prevents a quote. The interface does not manufacture an exchange rate. A real wallet balance is required; demo finds and unpaid entitlements cannot be spent.

Approvals, slippage and gas

Selling a token can require two wallet prompts: an exact-amount token spending approval, then the swap. STOCKTOWN does not request an unlimited token allowance. If approval takes too long, the quote may expire before the swap; obtain a new quote. A completed approval can remain onchain even if the later swap is cancelled.

The minimum-received amount limits the exchange-rate movement you accept. Pool fees are part of the route; network gas is additional and shown by your wallet. Leave ETH available for gas. Account, network, recipient and quote checks run before execution. Cancelling a prompt does not delete your game progress. A transaction already submitted to the network cannot be cancelled by closing the game. How Uniswap swaps work ↗

From a discovery to your wallet

When live rewards and automatic delivery are active, solving a verified hunt saves the reward and queues its stock tokens for your connected wallet. There is no separate claim button for a new automatic reward. The eight launch stocks are NVIDIA, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Broadcom and Tesla. Older AMD and Robinhood discoveries remain in your collection.

StatusWhat it means
QueuedYour find is saved and its pool budget is reserved. Delivery starts when the reward wallet and network are ready.
ConfirmingA transfer has been prepared or submitted. Track its transaction link; do not request another payment.
DeliveredThe network finalized an exact token transfer to your wallet. Refresh balances to see what you currently hold.
Needs a team checkThe transfer could not be safely completed. Your discovery stays saved while the team checks it.
DemoPractice inventory with no cash value. It never converts to a live reward.

Live rewards require an eligible account, a funded and enabled stock pool and enough remaining budget for the boosted amount. Game boosts apply to future finds. They do not increase existing tokens or guarantee returns. A pending discovery cannot be spent or offered as an in-game item while delivery is in progress.

Send from your backpack

  1. Open Backpack and find the token in Wallet & collection.
  2. Choose Send, enter the recipient’s wallet address and the token amount.
  3. The recipient must be a verified, eligible STOCKTOWN account. Review the exact address, amount and Robinhood Chain network.
  4. Confirm in your own wallet. You pay the outgoing network fee in ETH.
  5. Use the transaction link and Check confirmation if the network is slow. Never resend merely because a receipt is delayed.

Delivery receipts are historical records. Your current wallet balance can change after you send or sell tokens. Your wallet remains in control of outgoing transfers; STOCKTOWN does not take an unlimited allowance. Legacy rewards that were already in the manual request flow keep that review process.

Useful contributions build the city

In My account → Community, write one useful exploration or gameplay tip per UTC day. Tips must contain 20–700 characters. Submissions await moderation and are not automatically public approvals. The team can approve or reject them.

When the day reaches 25 approved tips from wallet-connected players, everyone receives the +0.50× daily community bonus, subject to the 2× daily cap. This resets at 00:00 UTC. The separate active-city milestone counts unique wallet-connected hunters over seven UTC dates; submitting a tip alone does not qualify someone as a hunter.

Saved online. Shared with real players.

Identity, character appearance, location, current room, discoveries, clue stages, achievements, tutorial completion, assignments, contributions, friendships and trades are stored on the game server. They are not held only in browser storage. Your session cookie grants access; the connected wallet restores the account across devices. To switch accounts, click your wallet address in the game header and choose Disconnect wallet. You can also disconnect from the arrival screen or account hub. This ends the current sign-in and returns you to the city gates without deleting your progress. Select another account in your wallet, then reconnect. When a wallet exposes multiple addresses, choose which explorer account to sign in to.

Movement is synchronized about once per second, with interpolation between updates. The server validates speed and collision paths, and safely retries an unacknowledged movement update. Use one active game tab for an explorer; competing tabs can cause a resynchronization. During a connection interruption, movement may pause until the saved position is confirmed.

The alpha returns up to 48 nearby recent players in the same area. Players in another building are not rendered inside your room. Presence expires after roughly 12 seconds without updates. Friend and trade inboxes refresh about every six seconds; inventory refreshes approximately every 30 seconds.

Other players can see your explorer name, character, friend code, recent in-game presence and available in-game inventory. The presence list does not expose wallet addresses. Wallet holdings are read for your authenticated account. Wallet addresses and transactions are public blockchain data. The team can review connected accounts, reward requests and contribution moderation records.

Map updates may relocate an old or obstructed saved position to the arrival plaza so you can keep playing. This does not clear inventory, XP or social progress. A verified wallet is required for gameplay. Stock-token eligibility is a separate requirement for live rewards and trading.

What is available today

The playable alpha includes a solid 3D city, keyboard and click movement, online saved progress, room-based multiplayer, clue trails, a custom character creator, Ivy’s typed and voice-enabled concierge guide, friends, consent-based item trades and gifts, challenges, progressive rewards, wallet signing, a balance viewer, automatic stock-token delivery, wallet transfers, HQ workstations and an onchain swap interface.

It is not yet an unlimited-scale MMO. Interiors reuse ten room themes. Gym workout mini-games, swimming, riding slides, playable outdoor chess, upper floors, vehicles you can drive, free-text live chat, fractional game-item trades are not implemented. Trading on a workstation uses your wallet; social item trading uses game inventory.

There is no displayed cash portfolio valuation or promised investment return. Live stock-token availability depends on jurisdiction and issuer requirements, and an operator approval flag is not a substitute for those requirements. The game is independent of Robinhood and Uniswap.

Team operations and official references

The protected team area manages eligible wallets, stock pools, contributions and reward requests. Authorised operators configure a token contract, base reward, budget and enabled state for each supported reward symbol. Already allocated budgets cannot be reduced below commitments, and a pool’s contract cannot be replaced after allocations exist.

Automatic finds use a durable delivery queue and a dedicated funded reward wallet. The dispatcher saves each signed transfer before submission and retries only that same transaction, preventing duplicate payments. Legacy manual requests keep the existing review and verification process. A finalized, matching Transfer event is stored with the claim and audit record in one database transaction; reused events cannot settle another claim. Changes are recorded in the audit log. Live reward mode, operator access and production RPC configuration require team deployment settings; no operator keys belong in the frontend. Reading public balances or opening an exchange desk does not require sharing a wallet secret.

Connecting production services

The server supports ROBINHOOD_RPC_URL for a production Robinhood Chain RPC endpoint. Both wallet balance reads and exchange quotes use it, with the public RPC as the default. The official stock-token asset registry is already integrated. An explorer API such as Blockscout is a separate service for indexed transaction and token history; it does not sign transactions, fund rewards or create trading liquidity.

Ivy’s optional natural voice is managed through the private service setup and deployment settings. The team can choose her voice, enable narration and set a daily voice allowance. The guide remains readable when narration is unavailable, and reception offers device voices as a fallback. Voice requests are limited per player and across the city to keep usage within the configured allowance.

The owner connects a dedicated reward wallet through private service setup and activates automatic delivery. Team Operations shows signer readiness, registry contracts and treasury balances for the eight launch stocks. Set a per-find amount and lifetime budget for each token, fund the treasury, then enable its pool. The team must verify recipient eligibility separately. A budget does not buy or mint stock tokens. Keep the reward wallet exclusive to the dispatcher and fund its ETH gas balance. Credentials are server-only; no recovery phrase or private key belongs in chat or source code. Live rewards remain paused until activation and funding are complete.

STOCKTOWN’s game ledger uses millionths of a reward unit. The verifier converts that quantity to the selected token contract’s atomic units using its decimal precision and exact integer arithmetic. Team-signed transfers must use that exact token quantity, one matching transfer event per claim. A single transaction may contain several separate transfers; one combined transfer cannot settle multiple claims. The token’s issuer display multiplier is separate from the gameplay reward multiplier. New finds and authenticated delivery-status requests advance the queue in the background. For unattended retries when nobody is in the game, the owner can connect a scheduler to the protected dispatch endpoint. A per-transfer gas ceiling and pool budgets bound spending; a network failure never creates a second payment.

This handbook describes the implemented alpha. The in-game status, current eligibility and live network response determine what is available to each player.
